Jan 17 2007 Investigation

On January 17th we where in invited by G.R.A.P.E. (local paranormal group) to tag along on an investigation. The investigation site was the Spiritual Church.

We arrived at around 9:00 PM and all joined up in the church basement. We spent a little time getting to know each other and to form a plan for the night. Dave from G.R.A.P.E. decided to split us up into two groups of 6 people, each with a sensitive and some church members.

Our group started off in the basement. Lisa (sensitive) headed for the nursery room. She said she was picking up the spirit of a small girl. The girl seemed to be attached to a large Teddy bear that was in the room. She tried for more than 1/2 hour to contact this spirit to no avail.

Next we headed to room next door, the meditation room. We spent another 1/2 hour in this room with no results. Next it was to the kitchen where we stayed till break was called 15 minutes later.

During the break G.R.A.P.E. went over the events that had been happening at the church, such as voices, closing doors, flying pictures and shadows. While they were explaining the events, Mike from our team, had a urge to photograph the staircase leading upstairs. He came back and showed me a pic of a bright orb. Now we do not usually care about orbs at all, but this one was different. It was not a white transparent spot like most so called orbs, but instead was full of spiraling colors. So we tried to duplicate the picture around 20 times and were unable to debunk it.

Next it was our turn to head upstairs and investigate the library and worship hall. I decided to sit on the left set of pews 3 rows back and Matt on the right 2 pews back. Here we both had very personal experiences. For me I was sitting there in a meditative state and heard very loud indian chanting. It was so loud in my head that it was giving me a headache. Around the same time Matt was feeling a presence in the row right in front of him. He said it was much colder where he felt the presence at.

Once the investigation started to wrap up Matt and I decided to stay up top and take some more photos. I decided to look in the office on the right since it was left alone all night. When I reviewed the audio from my recorder in this room I caught an EVP. It said "Were not safe here". Hmm glad I went back in there.

All in all we had a great time and came away with our own personal experiences.
