Home Investigation 7-22-06

This was our very first home investigation. Our client came to us with some pretty good stories about her house. They are as follows:

In the upstairs bathroom, both guests and residents have seen a child in the bathroom. The child was always seem in a fetal position alnong side the toilet.

In the basement many have seen a man in a long trench coat looking towards a closet.

Neither spirit was reported to interact with anyone.
 
On 7-22-06 we got to the home around 9:00pm and had all equipment set up by 10:00pm. We set up a camera in the bathroom, and two in the basement. We also setup a remote weather station in the basement closet.

We then split up into 2 groups. The first group Matt and Quintin took the basement and Mike and I manned the camera station.

Group 1 remained in the basement till 11:00 pm, that is when I called for break and we all went outside till 11:10 PM.
At 11:10, group 2 was then moved to the basement. In the basement I used my nightvision camcorder, temp sensor, recorder and digital camera. Mike used his recorder, emf meter and took alot of digital photos. We even tried to intise some evps but the spirits didn't want to play.

At 12:00am I made the call to pack it in. The family needed to get to bed. We had all the equipment packed up by 12:30 and I decided to pull out some dowsing rods. I got multiple crossings in the basement and one in the basement closet. The one in the closet made me notice something, it seems there is a hollow spot in the cement that we cant get to. After bringing this up, the rest of the group said they had all noticed this too. At 12:45 we called it a night.
 
Conclusion:

After going though all the evidence there was not even a single EVP or positive photo. We then set up a meeting with the client and gave her the news. She was very happy and said her family felt much better knowing we did not catch anything. We offered a return visit in the future but was told they were pleased with the results and didnt want us to find anything later as the kids in the house now felt better about going into the basement.
 
After the investigation Matt ran into a neighbor down the street from the home. She informed him that a man had died in that house. He had lived there for many years.

I really wish we could have made a return trip. We so wanted to know what that spot in the closet was. 

A very vivid image of a child has been seen in the upstairs bathroom where the trash can is. The Child always seems to be curled up as if scared. 

The residents dog always seems to stand by this vent and bark. The vent is right above when the ghost of a man in a overcoat has been seen.

The ghost of the child in the bathroom has aslo been seen down in the basements right side by a bike. The amazing thing is that its right below the upstairs bathroom.

This is the right side of the basement. Notice the blacklight in the upper left corner of the picture. We used that to film in total darkness.

The entry way to the left side of the basement is where a ghost of a man wearing a over coat has been spotted. He always seems to be looking at the closet in the back wall.

After we were done with the main investigation, I decided to do a little dowsing. This picture shows them cross in the closet. I also had them cross where the ghost of the man shows itself.

This shows our camera set up on the left side of the basement. The camera is attached to a bucket on the ground to keep it from moving.
